Each game from Mochimedia displays a 300 x 250 ad while it loads.  The image is how the ad will look like in each game.  As an advertiser, you can upload your own ad and choose which game category and location of users where you want your ad displayed.  You can choose the start and end date of your campaign and Mochimedia can calculate the estimated impressions available for the given time period.  The budget and placement bid that you will set can either be in CPC or CPM.  CPM (cost per thousand) advertisers who select CPM are usually interested in raising brand or company awareness, while CPC (cost per click) advertisers who select CPC tend to be interested in driving traffic and controlling the costs down to a single user.

You made your own flash game, but not getting enough support?  You can upload your own game to Mochimedia and gain revenue.  All you need to do is add encryption and live update capabilities to your game by verifying that the game belongs to you.  You do this by adding a line of code given to you when you sign up.  Add this to your game where Actionscript is allowed.  You’ll also need to use the latest version of the MochiAPI.  You wont even have to add your own preloader manually because it will be added automatically to your .swf file once its processed.  You only have to set the background color or style you want for the preloader in the developer options.

So how does a developer earn money with games?  It depends on the amount of traffic the game gets and best of all, if his game is actually being played.  To best track how much you earn, you can sign up to show ads in your game.

Traffic Sharing Program

The Traffic Share program allows developers to make use of the network for their own ads. When participating in the Traffic Share program, a fraction of a percent of your games’ ad impressions will be ads from other game developers, and your ad will show up in games made by other developers. The more ad impressions your games get, the more times your traffic share ad will be shown across the network. Traffic share ads are showed in games while they’re being tested and before they are approved for paid ads.

Earn Money With Games using a Referral Program

You can tell everyone about Mochimedia have them sign up using your referral link.  When they earn their first $100 which is the minumum payout, Mochimedia will pay you $20 as added bonus.  Payments are sent through checks, Paypal or Moneybookers.  Currently they are working on a mobile platform for these games that will be initially launched for Android, so there is a lot of potential for more players and more revenue.
